Gezhi Photonics updates design of traditional optical transceivers

Recently, Gezhi Photonics has announced technical parameter of Calibration and updated design for series optical transceivers, which covers nearly all series products of Gezhi Photonics, such as 1.25G SFP, BIDI SFP,COPPER SFP,10G XFP/SFP+/X2/XENPAK etc. These updated transceivers have passed market validation.

The newly-designed optical transceivers follow the company’s product strategy in manageability, reliability and compatibility of key technology. The new design features in power management capabilities and electromagnetic compatibility and have made adequate consideration to integrated circuits and environment parameter of high and severe operating conditions. The capability of heat dissipation of crust has been promoted. And the new design mainly focus on 10G X2/XENPAK‘s accident package loss caused by the changeable working environment of devices and instability of chip of physical layer. We’ve also made jitter test and analysis required by customers.

The company has added features of LINK LOS and Disability for GBIC SFP and promoted its compatibility to some particular type of converters. The 10G active cable SFP+ with low cost and high reliability will be launched in recent days.

The company has made new technical planning for all series products during to market feedback after CIOE exhibition in September last year. And the rough period has been over by the end of the first quarter.

We sold about eighty thousands optical transceivers in the last whole yeas. Though Our products can satisfy the customers’ needs, we still have to promote products quality and refine ourselves in cruel competitive for the respect to our customer and technique, the sales manager said, and the most important, the company should develop more new products instead of traditional 10G rate or below products as soon as possible.  

The company holds that optical transceiver industry will enter into a challenging period after the fourth quarter this year. So most of companies in the industry should endeavor to improve products and segment market based on its own existing technique, financial and labor resources, or they will be disappointed about the future.
